Using today's technology to bring people back to the past
The Centre
for the Study of Biblical Research is using today's technology to bring people
back to the past. This is accomplished by disclosing the latest material
discussed by scholars living in Jerusalem, Israel. These researchers meet
regularly to read and discuss the Synoptic Gospels. They speak only Hebrew and
read the Gospels in Greek. Attention to detail of the syntax and Idioms of the
Second Temple Period are examined. The four pillars of CSBR are the Second
Temple Period, Language, Culture, and Jesus (Yeshua).
The
objective of CSBR is to help scholars and families financially on a regular
basis. Additional support is given for books, periodicals, and special needs.
One scholar’s wife was baking potatoes on a heating radiator because she didn’t
have an oven. CSBR was able to raise enough funds to purchase a new stove,
oven, plus remodel her kitchen cabinets.These families have numerous needs and sacrifice immensely.
